Gateway Friends,

Call to Me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.    Jeremiah 33:3 NRSV

People pray for many different reasons.  Sometimes they have a special need, or they desire something only God can supply.  I heard a story of a Pastor asking a twelve-year-old boy, who was sitting on the front row of the church, this question: "Billy, did you pray this week?"  "No, I didn't.  I wasn't in trouble this week."  This is the reason many people pray.  They are in trouble.  When everything is going well, they feel they don't need to pray.  Friends, our country is in trouble, and we really need to call on God.  The good news - He promises to answer.  We have a Good, Good Father.  Join Gateway this June as we call on our Father.
