Gateway Friends,

Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.  Romans 12:11 NIV

Way to go Gateway!  We're halfway there with the 21 day fast, and I trust this season of focus with Jesus has been redemptive for you.  As we PURSUE what matters most this year, keep drawing close to Jesus.  Remember to pick up one of our practical Fasting Guides at Church to help you navigate the journey.  My prayer is that you will experience the presence and power of God in an extraordinary way as you commit yourself to Him.

Fasting Encouragement Note ~

We’re almost halfway through our 21 day fast, and I find I am pressing in even harder to hear the Lord’s voice for every area of my life.  Margaret Feinberg, in her book “Sacred Echo”, describes times in our lives when we hear the same words or message everywhere we turn – God trying to get our attention.  That’s been occurring for me during this fast.

Deut. 4:29 says if we seek God, we will find Him if we seek Him with all our heart and soul.Lord, keep us listening for your echo and pursuing you!!

Blessings,

Lynn
