There was once a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job. That man was blameless and upright, one who feared God and turned away from evil.  Job 1:1

Many of you know the story of JOB and the intense challenges he faced.  His story provides perspective.  Even in his immense loss and grief, he remained blameless and upright.  He feared God and turned away from evil.  Friends, I have been asking myself during this season of fires, shootings, storms, and more, if my faith will stand the test?  Do I succumb to temptation and justify it because 'life is hard'?  When I read the story of JOB, I am quickly reminded of the tenacity, endurance, perseverance, and grit he showed in the midst of all the 'stuff'.

My prayer is that, like me, your perspective will shift after reading JOB's story.  Consider it pure joy, when you face trials. (James 1)
