Greetings! I hope you have been enjoying the incredibly beautiful weather! I have started the summer off by picking berries and produce from my garden with my 3 boys. I absolutely love it!
I Thessalonians 5:12-13 reads, “Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to respect those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.”
I’d like to acknowledge someone who has been working so hard to assist the ministry God has called me to, Gateway worship. Cassie Hooton has been working on scheduling, communication, set-up, and many other things for our team. She carries such a good attitude and has really enhanced our team. I want to thank her for all she’s done. You’re so great Cassie!
Who have you seen around you that works hard? Your assistant? Your Pastor? Your spouse? Your children? (No laughing at that one; wink, wink.) When is the last time that you acknowledged or encouraged them, or just said thank you? Let’s be a grateful group of people.
Ephesians 3:17-19 says, “And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge- that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”
