Hi Gateway Family,

A few weeks ago in worship with you, I saw and heard a glimpse of what I picture Heaven to be like. It
made me so excited that someday we will all be able to do that together in a beautiful place with no pain,
sorrow, or sickness. If you haven’t accepted Christ yet, all you have to do is ask God to forgive all our
sins and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. It is quickly approaching 1 year since I lost my Daddy
here on earth to a lung disease, but he entered that wonderful place. I can still picture him singing “It’s
Your breath in our lungs, so we pour out our praise...” in the hospital room with me while on high flow
oxygen. When you lose someone close to you, it really makes you think about how short life is. As I read
out of Isaiah 40:7-8, I was reminded, “Surely the people are grass. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever!”

Am I living my life as though it is just a breath? I have a quote on my board in my kitchen that reads, “If
it is not important on the Last day, how important is it today?” It helps me keep things in perspective
when I stress about the little things. I leave you with a song I learned as a little kid:

“Heaven is a wonderful place
Filled with glory and grace
I wanna see my Savior’s face
Cause Heaven is a wonderful place
I wanna go there! “

I love you church! Have a wonderful rest of your week! See you Sunday.
