Aaron Mireles || Executive Pastor
Aaron, his wife Sarah, and their 3 children, Siena, Max and Sophia, came to Oregon and Gateway from California, where he had served on staff for over 8 years.
As the Executive Pastor at Gateway, Aaron finds many areas to use his creativity and passion for Jesus and life. Whether speaking on a Sunday, loving on our youth, leading the staff or remodeling the facility, Aaron’s enthusiasm comes through.
When he’s not at church, Aaron loves to golf, workout, or go hiking and kayaking with his family.
Karen Lytle || Music Director
My name is Karen Lytle, and I'm the Music Director at Gateway Foursquare. I’m married to Bret Lytle and have 3 boys; Jackson, Grady, and Brayden. I love sports, and if I had an open day to do whatever I wanted, I would hang out with friends, read (favorite book - Living a Life of Fire by Reinhard Bonnke) in a coffee shop with an iced caramel latte, or play guitar in the park. I love people and love to worship the Almighty God. He is so worthy of praise!
Joni Buyes || Children's Director
Joni was born in Silverton, OR and was raised in the Silverton/Salem area. She is married and has three beautiful children; Arika, Jordan, and Addie. Joni has a passion for kids, and for seeing them come to know Jesus personally and beginning a relationship with Him. She has a heart for all people and loves to organize and lead in events and projects that center around the awesome kids that come to Gateway, as well as seeing more kids from the community join her church family. She is very excited to see our children's ministry grow and expand. She is working toward being fully equipped and bringing together an awesome team to bring more children to come to know Jesus' love and to grow and understand His plan and love for them.
Aside from all she's involved in and coordinates at the church, Joni also enjoys spending quality time with her family, writing novels, baking all kinds of delicious treats, and running her growing photography business on the side.

The one and only extraordinary LC is so much more than just our bookkeeper. He is an amazing prayer warrior, drummer, worshipper, youth leader, soccer player, and coach to middle school girls--Louis-Claude is rarely still. Born and raised in Cameroon, he came to Salem to attend college at Corban and we are so blessed that he chose to stick around!
