Learn: Greg's academic background includes a degree in Communications and a minor is Japanese Studies from California State University Sacramento. Currently, Greg is a seminary student pursuing his Masters in Theology from George Fox Evangelical Seminary.
Live: Greg enjoys many hobbies; like golfing and working out.
Laugh: If you have been to a Celebration Sunday service, you know that laughter is an important value around Gateway. He loves to laugh with friends and family.
Lead: After serving in multiple ministry roles in Northern California, Greg & Stacey loaded their five kids and headed north to restart the church in South Salem. The Schaub family arrived in Salem, November 1, 1999. Pastor Greg is the longest serving of five Lead Pastors over the last 40 years. Greg also serves the Foursquare Church as a Divisional Superintendent in the Capital region.
To serve the Gateway community is his extreme privilege and joy!
Stacey Schaub || Women's Ministry Director
Stacey has been a licensed Foursquare pastor for over fifteen years, and was ordained in October 2013. She has served beside her husband Greg as the lead pastors of Gateway in Salem, Oregon for seventeen years. As a staff pastor she led Worship and Women’s ministries. She also served on the Council for the Willamette District where she served the women of the district and represented them at national gatherings. She was a member of the leadership team for the Life on the Vine women’s retreats. She has spoken at many retreats and conferences throughout the northwest, as well as California and Alaska. She is currently earning a Master's degree in Strategic Leadership from LIFE Pacific College.
Stacey and Greg have been married for 29 years. The joy of their lives are their five children and four grandchildren! Their daughter Katie and her husband Cris Buck serve as youth pastors at West Salem Foursquare. Their daughter Becca is married to Louis-Claude Nguea-Njoh, who is on staff at Gateway. Their daughter Lindsey and her husband Jordan Fehlen are currently serving as youth pastors at East Hill Foursquare Church in Gresham, Oregon. Their son Jon graduated from Pacific Lutheran University, majoring in business and communications. Their son Daniel is in the nursing program at Grand Canyon University in Arizona.
Stacey loves to sing, cook and feed a crowd, and have fun with women of all ages. She is eternally gratefully for the saving grace of God, and is passionate about sharing His word and encouraging others every chance she gets.
Aaron Mireles || Executive Pastor
Aaron, his wife Sarah, and their 3 children, Siena, Max and Sophia, came to Oregon and Gateway from California, where he had served on staff for over 8 years.
As the Executive Pastor at Gateway, Aaron finds many areas to use his creativity and passion for Jesus and life. Whether speaking on a Sunday, loving on our youth, leading the staff or remodeling the facility, Aaron’s enthusiasm comes through.
When he’s not at church, Aaron loves to golf, workout, or go hiking and kayaking with his family.
Karen Lytle || Music Director
Karen is the Music Director at Gateway Foursquare. She is married to Bret Lytle and has 3 boys: Jackson, Grady, and Brayden. She loves sports, and if she had an open day to do whatever she wanted, she would hang out with friends, read (favorite book - Living a Life of Fire by Reinhard Bonnke) in a coffee shop with an iced caramel latte, or play guitar in the park. She loves people and loves to worship the Almighty God. He is so worthy of praise!
Lynn Mireles || Pastoral Care
Lynn and her husband Lee are recent transplants to Oregon from California, where they served at the same church for 35 years. She and Lee have been married for 38 years, have 3 grown sons, 3 lovely daughters-in-law and 10 grandchildren.
Lynn is an ordained Foursquare minister as well as a Foursquare Disaster Relief Chaplain. Over the years she has probably served in every department in the church. Nowadays, however, she enjoys any capacity that allows her to mentor, encourage, and raise up others to everything that God has for them.
Lynn has a degree in music from Azusa Pacific University and loves worship. She loves working with women in any capacity, and in recent years she and her husband have found a new love in leading short-term mission teams overseas.
Outside of church, she loves to paddleboard, cook, entertain, and read a good book.
Corky Hooton || Office Administrator
Corky has called Gateway her church home since 1975. She has been involved in many ministries during that time -- Worship, the Children's Dept., the Communications & Information Center, the Coffee Café , the Office, and various leadership teams.
Her life is blessed by her 3 children – Jonathan, Kaitlyn, and Jeffrey, and the addition of their spouses – Donna, Benjamin, and Cassie. She has the incredible joy of being Nanna to Emily, Eva, Amelia, Dominic, Solomon and Anna.
She enjoys meeting friends for coffee and sharing in their lives . . . being with family . . . creating with flowers . . . scrapping cards . . . cross stitching . . . candy making . . . baking . . . and relaxing with good books.
She feels very blessed and is grateful for the privilege of serving Gateway as the Office Administrator.
Lynise Frink || Events Director
Lynise has been at Gateway since 2004 and on staff since 2009. She has served in just about every department at one time or another, but her current official title is Events Coordinator. Lynise and her husband Scot are in the process of launching their 4 children into the world. They enjoy spending time together with each other and with their growing and grown kids whenever possible.
Louis-Claude Nguea-Njoh || Bookkeeper
The one and only extraordinary LC is so much more than just our bookkeeper. He is an amazing prayer warrior, drummer, worshipper, youth leader, soccer player, and coach to middle school girls--Louis-Claude is rarely still. Born and raised in Cameroon, he came to Salem to attend college at Corban and we are so blessed that he chose to stick around! Last summer LC married the beautiful Rebecca and in May his life was forever brightened by the birth of his son, Gabriel-Daniel Namse.
