Theme: Hope Came Down to Earth
Scripture Focus: Isaiah 9:2; Romans 15:13; Luke 2:8–11

DAY 1 — SUNDAY

Scripture: Isaiah 9:2

“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light…”

Family Question:
Where do you feel “in the dark” this season? How might God shine light there?

Simple Activity:
Turn off the room lights and light one candle. Watch how even a tiny flame changes everything.

DAY 2 — MONDAY

Scripture: Psalm 33:20

“We wait in hope for the Lord…”

Family Question:
What’s something you’re waiting for right now? How can you wait with hope instead of worry?

Simple Activity:
Make a “Hope Jar.”
Each person writes one prayer they’re trusting Jesus with this week.

DAY 3 — TUESDAY

Scripture: Romans 15:13

“May the God of hope fill you…”

Family Question:
What makes you feel empty? What does it look like for God to fill you with hope?

Simple Activity:
Each person draws or lists three things that give them hope.

DAY 4 — WEDNESDAY

Scripture: Luke 2:8–11

“I bring you good news of great joy…”

Family Question:
Why do you think God chose ordinary shepherds to hear the good news first?

Simple Activity:
Share good news with someone today — a text, call, or note saying “God loves you.”

DAY 5 — THURSDAY

Scripture: Psalm 42:5

“Put your hope in God…”

Family Question:
What helps you remember God’s promises when you feel discouraged?

Simple Activity:
Create a simple “Hope Bookmark” using paper or a sticky note with Psalm 42:5 written on it.

DAY 6 — FRIDAY

Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you…”

Family Question:
How does knowing God has a plan give you hope for the future?

Simple Activity:
Each person shares one dream or plan they hope God will help them with.

DAY 7 — SATURDAY

Scripture: John 1:5

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

Family Question:
Where have you seen God’s light this week?

Simple Activity:
Bundle up for a “Hope Walk.”
Look at Christmas lights in your neighborhood and talk about Jesus as the Light of the World.
