Meet the Children’s Ministry co-Director
Katie Fuller
Katie and her husband Aaron have served in various ministries together in Oregon and California for 26 years. They met at LIFE Pacific University in 1997 and were married in 1999. They have 2 children, Maddie and Luke, who are their greatest joy in life. She loves cooking, crafting, hosting people in her home, traveling, listening to Maddie sing and watching Luke play football.
Katie's previous ministry assignments have been in Worship and Women’s Ministry, but she is excited now about the new role God has called her into as the Children's Director here at Gateway Foursquare. She has a passion to see families transformed as they grow with their kids in following Jesus together.
Meet the Children’s Ministry co-Director
Melinda Kenaston
Melinda has the joy of serving as one of our Children's Ministry Directors, where she gets to help kids discover who Jesus is and see that following Him is the greatest adventure they'll ever experience. She is passionate about creating engaging, hands-on experiences that help children learn, ask questions, and grow in their faith. Whether that means bringing crickets, worms, random props, or some other unexpected object into the classroom, she's always looking for creative ways to make biblical truths memorable and meaningful. Melinda believes kids learn best when they can see, touch, explore, and experience God's truth for themselves.
Over the years, Melinda has served in children's ministry, women's ministry, hospitality, and food pantry outreach. No matter the ministry, her heart has always been helping people feel seen, valued, and loved by Jesus.
Melinda and her husband, Ryan, have three children and enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, gardening, baking, and gathering with family and friends around the firepit. She loves good conversation, strong coffee, and finding opportunities to encourage others in their walk with Jesus. Her idea of a perfect day is simple: Jesus, coffee, and Chick-fil-A.
