“I bring you good news of great joy for all people.”
Family Question:
Why do you think Jesus’ birth brings joy to everyone — not just a few people?

Each person names one thing that made them smile today. End by thanking God for those small joys.
DAY 2 — MONDAY
Scripture: psalm 16:11
“You fill me with joy in Your presence.”
Family Question:
When do you feel closest to God? What makes being with Him joyful?
Simple Activity:
Play one worship song together. Let kids dance or sway — joy loves movement!
DAY 3 — TUESDAY
Scripture: Philippians 4:4
“Rejoice in the Lord always…”
Family Question:
Is it possible to have joy even on hard days? How?
Simple Activity:
Make a “Joy List” of 5 things you’re grateful for today.
DAY 4 — WEDNESDAY
Scripture: Nehemiah 8:10
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.”
Family Question:
How can joy make a person strong?
Simple Activity:
Flex your “joy muscles.” Everyone says one encouraging thing to another family member.
DAY 5 — THURSDAY
Scripture: John 15:11
“…that My joy may be in you and that your joy may be full.”
Family Question:
What does “full joy” feel like to you?
Simple Activity:
Create “Joy Jars” (or one family jar). Fill with tiny notes of things that bring joy. Revisit later in December.
DAY 6 — FRIDAY
Scripture: Proverbs 17:22
“A cheerful heart is good medicine.”
Family Question:
What lifts your heart when you’re sad?
Simple Activity:
Have a 2-minute family laugh session — tell jokes, make silly faces, or watch a funny clip.
DAY 7 — SATURDAY
Scripture: Isaiah 55:12
“You will go out in joy…”
Family Question:
How can we “go out” in joy — showing it where we live, work, and play?
Simple Activity:
Deliver joy to someone today — cookies, a card, a message, or a small act of kindness.
