Women in Ministry Leadership
Empowered WIML Cohort 2026-2027
What is WIML?
The EMPOWERED Women in Ministry Leadership (WIML) Cohort is an 8-month intentional community of female leaders from around the country who are investing in their own leadership development to be equipped for their God-given callings in ministry leadership.
Program Focus
Our purpose is to coach and connect with key female leaders in a relational learning environment for the purpose of multiplication of women leaders, development of core competencies, future sponsoring, and to create a cultural commitment to the holistic development of Women in Ministry Leadership.
Who is it for?
This group is for women serving in any area of ministry leadership, including preaching, executive pastoral leadership, missions, and any form of public ministry, as well as those serving in women’s ministry. It is not required that you have ministry credentials to attend. Marketplace leaders will find the group helpful if they view their role as a ministry role, and they are encouraged to participate.
Why WIML?
-
Relational Learning Environment:
We are created to learn best through relationship. While you will be stretched, challenged, and assigned to learn some hard skills, the transformational learning will happen in the context of a safe community of women who are committed to loving Jesus and loving you.
-
Core Competencies:
We believe there are key leadership and spiritual competencies that women in ministry must develop. While you bring a lot of your own passions, experiences, and training into the cohort, we will focus on these specific areas together.
-
Future Sponsoring:
Every woman needs someone who has gone before her to reach back and pull her forward into her calling. Every woman also has a responsibility to reach back and pull others forward into theirs. Our prayer is that you will experience both being sponsored and become a sponsor during your 8 months in the cohort.
-
Cultural Commitment:
Our goal is not to have women complete an 8-month program. Our goal is to see a cultural shift where the holistic development of women in ministry leadership becomes the normal operating culture of the Northwest District. We are partnering with Jesus for the long game.

Endorsement
“Several years ago, a few leaders gathered in a conference room to dream about a grassroots movement of intentional training and preparation of women leaders. A vision for Women in Ministry Leadership cohorts (WIML) was birthed, which is a process of coaching and mentoring with a catalytic training event hosted by a myriad of leaders and facilitated by Marion Ingegneri.
The idea was that after completion of a cohort those women would then do a similar model in their own area so that this model could multiply around the nation. It has been exciting to watch this dream become a reality. Marion has continued to start new cohorts and I encourage you to consider being part of the next cohort and passing the information on to any women leaders that want to grow in their leadership capacity.”
